Breakneck Dungeons

Breakneck Dungeons is a board game for 2 to 6 players where it's a race to finish. Fight monsters, collect loot and use powerful abilities through a random combination of rooms while making unique choices in interesting encounters. Play with the companion app to experience a narrative adventure and challenge the mighty Candle Crab.

This was a team project and I was the Primary Designer, with my roles including the gameplay, level and narrative encounter design. I also handled some of the QA, some of character backstories and all of the actual construction of the game. Adapting from digital design to tabletop was an insightful experience and has left me better prepared for utilising unfamiliar mediums and technology for future projects.

This game was demonstrated at UKGE 2023, an event with over 40,000 attendees.
